Mirage Express Patong Phuket Hotel, Patong

I stayed at this hotel recently and had a mixed experience. The location is pretty decent, being near the beach, but it lacks some amenities like umbrellas for shade. While the rooms were large and comfortable, I had a disturbing cleanliness issue. On the upside, I enjoyed the rooftop pool and the breakfast was surprisingly good. However, the service could really use some improvement as I encountered some rude staff during my check-in.

The hotel is in a great location, really close to the festival mall and Banzaan market, making it super convenient to explore the area. The rooms are modern and nicely decorated, although a bit small for my taste and had a slightly damp smell. The staff is friendly but could definitely benefit from being more welcoming, as their smiles were lacking. Overall, it’s a decent value for money, but the service could use some improvement.
